- This is correct, except that 28.8 modems do NOT run at 2400 baud.
- v.34 requires a symbol rate (baud rate) of either 3200 or 3429 to make a
- 28.8 connection. The annex to v.34 (aka v.34+) will allow 28.8
- connections using the 3000 symbol rate. With the 2400 symbol rate you can
- only connect at speeds of up to 21.6.
